Supporting slider to reduce movement

Have a 30' Outback 5er with slide. For the most part it is fairly stable if the front stabilizers do not have to be fully extended. Was wondering if I put a jack on the corners of the slider would that take out the movement. I know there are different methods but we usually do not stay any one place more than a few days. The DW doesn't like the motion so I need to try and fix it.I know this has a lot of threads but couldn't find them. Thanks

Costco RV Batteries

I have 1 of my 2 12V batteries going bad. It only reads 10V disconnected and is bubbling and smells.Anyway, we are not boondockers and it would be an accident or just for 1 night if we did. Would 2 Costco RV batteries be good enough for this type camping? Thanks

Leaving 5er connected to house power with no load

Is it harmful to the batteries to leave them connected to the 120V AC while not in use and with no load? Would it be better to disconnect it and charge batteries before I leave?Checked Batteries today and they seemed to be bubbling a bit and had an odor. There are 2 12V batteries but only one seems to do this . the other is fine. Unit is an 06 Outback 31FRKS. Thanks

Lifting 5er to change tires

Going to put new Maxxis on the 5er but have to lift one side ata time and bring them to the place. The manual says not to lift the trailer on the axles or any other suspension part. I was thinking if I lift it next to the drum it should be alright. Thanks for your help.

Carlyle10 ply load D tires

Just bought new tires for my car and asked about tires for the 5er. Americas Tire only carries Goodyear and Carlyles. The carlyles were 10 ply 15" load E tires. The price was good but are the tires?Just returned from a 5000mi trip thru most of the west and northwest. Noticed the sidewalls were cracking on the Duros. Took it easy and made it home. Won't do another trip with them. Was thinking of Maxxis or BF Goodrich. Does Costco carry trailer tires? Most tire places around here aren't big enough to take the 5er. Would have to bring tires and rim 2 at a time. Need some help. Thanks

Dish network and local channels

I have Dish and have had problems getting any channels below 100.I have the dish 500 plus and a 522 receiver. It seems I used be able to get these channels when I went to Alaska with the 310 receiver. Dish tells me because I'm 1200 mi. from LA the spotbeam won't get the channels. My understanding was when you traveled even if on the east coast you would get LA not East coast local channels. has anyone else had this problem. Sorry, this may be a tech issue but when i'm not sure I put it here. Thanks

Can my Outback take 16 " tires and what is the benefit

Have a 30' Outback 5er. It is an 06 bought in 07 and the Duros are not looking good. God willing I'll make it home from W yellowstone with them, taking it easy, but if I have to buy new ones can 16" fit on this unit (have 6 lug rim),what is the benefit? Seems like more selection in 16" than 15". I don't carry alot of weight when we traval and almost always empty my tanks except for some fresh water 1/3 tank. Thanks for your input

Any interesting route from West yellowstone to So. Calif.

We are leaving W. Yellowstone this sunday and wanted to take a more interesting route home than I-15. Not looking for an adventerous route. I think we have been on that for tha past 3 weeks. (snow, snow snow and more snow ,hail rain and gail force winds).Right now we are in grizzly RV park W. Yellowstone and most of the park is still covered in snow. Thought about going the 80 to Reno then down but don't know if it is worth the extra fuel. Thanks
